Meet The Team

Florentina has been working in the dental field for nearly 15 years so far, first joining our team in September of 2019. She graduated Magna Cum Laude from Virginia Western Community College with her degree in dental hygiene and also received the Hu-Friedy Golden Scaler Award for clinical excellence! Today, her favorite part of being a hygienist is that the patients entrust her with their health. She loves getting to know them and helping them achieve strong, lasting gums and teeth through education and preventive care.

Born and raised in Romania, Florentina has been living in Winchester since 2004. She and her husband have one grown son. When she isn’t busy at the practice, her favorite hobbies include gardening, sewing, cooking and baking for friends, reading, and taking long, relaxing walks in nature.

Jhonthan originally from Bolivia, grew up in Norther Virginia. He attended Virginia Common Wealth University and graduated with a degree in Biology. He went on to enroll in Hygiene School at Northern Virginia Community College.

Though Jhonthan never played volleyball until winter of 2020, he now plays at a highly competitive level at the FXA league. He enjoys hiking, soccer and he is active at his church going on mission trips, volunteering and helping the homeless.

Born in Costa Rica, Priscilla has now lived in Virginia for over two decades. Her career in dentistry spans three years and counting, and she loves working with such a wonderful team here at Lansdowne Family Dental to provide the best care possible to patients in need.

Priscilla has a hardworking, loving family at home. Outside of work, she spends her time hiking and exploring with her Siberian Husky Alko, baking, cooking, running, and enjoying cold weather (her favorite). She also loves reading books and then watching the movie versions of them!

With 4 years of experience in the field of dentistry, I am excited to have recently joined Lansdowne Family Dental as a new associate in the New Year 2023. I find great pleasure in interacting with my colleagues and patients, and constantly learning and growing to provide the best service. I am a local from Sterling, VA, a graduate of Potomac Falls High School and a Northern Virginia Community College attendee.

In my free time, I enjoy reading especially mystery, but I am open to nonfiction, realistic fiction and biographies. Additionally, music is one of my passions, and I enjoy listening to a variety of genres, including classical, country, pop and others, while taking walks. I am also fascinated by the world of dreams and have the ability to remember and interact with my dreams while I sleep. It’s like watching a movie where I am fully aware of my actions and words within the dream while being in a deep sleep.
